Hi guys, I unzipped the file that's been posted, and follow the instructions exactly as you have said, before connecting to the internet of course. But when I am trying to run the game in offline mode, I get the following message:'The EA account cannot be found locally on this machine.' Even though I have tried to alter the global and profile settings via notepad (who knows, maybe I am writing in my username, PrinceOvPersia, in the wrong places) I keep getting the same error message. The profile fix is for your screen name when you play the game, that goes into the Documents Folder. The BF2142 fix is a fixed BF2142.exe file, that goes into your game root directory.When unzipped the two files are totally different file types. One should be able to recognize the difference between the two, and if you look in your BF2142 files you will see files of the same type in the places where these two files should go.
